DeLand – Accident – 1 Dead, 3 Injured

On Friday, November 20, 2015, at approximately 9:30 p.m., a car accident killed one DeLand man and three others were injured.

The man that was killed, Richard Marino was driving a Kia Optima traveling eastbound making a left turn into oncoming traffic on U.S. 92.

As he turned onto Marsh Road, he passed in front of a Ford van. Richard Marino’s vehicle collided with the front of a van driven by Walter Guy with his passenger, Constance Guy. Walter Guy and Constance Guy sustained critical injuries and were transported to Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach.

The vehicle following the van, driven by Anthony Breeze collided into Richard Marino’s vehicle. Anthony Breeze had minor injuries.
