A: Not at this time. The judges that rule on Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) cases have ruled that there is no evidence that the MMR vaccine or other Thimerosal-containing vaccines can cause autism. However, that case is being appealed. If you wish to pursue your vaccine-related autism injury claim, you should know that the presence of thimerosal in the Hep B, HiB, and/or DTaP vaccines is essential to prove that these vaccines caused symptoms on the autism spectrum and makers of these vaccines claim to have ceased using thimerosal in vaccines produced after 1999.
